We take children from the age of approximately 2 years 8 months in our main pre-school unit and from the age of 2 years in our Two Year Olds Room – we normally have an intake each half term (except for after the May half term holiday) as space allows. Children starting in the two year olds room will transfer to the main pre-school at an appropriate time between the age of 2 years 9 months and 3 years old – this will depend on the individual child and on session availability.
We run a waiting list list for spaces and priority will be given to those families living in the Olney schools catchment area . If you wish to have your child added to the waiting list, we will need to have your name, your child’s name, their date of birth, contact phone number, email address and home address * (contact details are on the contact page).
We request that children start with at least two sessions/days per week as we find that they don’t settle very well if only attending one day per week. This can be increased as they settle and as space allows. Once your child turns 3, there is the opportunity to attend for a full day and our lunch club sessions are only available to these children. We give priority to those children due to go to school the next September for our full day sessions but can normally offer at least one full day to younger children if required.
